Thanks for popping onto my site! My name is Mina Holder and I like to run long distances, explore beautiful places, meet people and try to make the world a slightly better place along the way. From this page you can read about different challenges I have undertaken and, more importantly, enjoy 52 days worth of good news, collected on the run James and I just completed the length of Great Britain!
On the 10th of May James and I set off from Lands End to start a long 1,300 mile trail run North, until we reached John O'Groats. We followed some of the most beautiful trails Great Britain has to offer; the South-West Coast Path, Offa's Dyke, the Pennine Way and the West Highland Way. Our plan was to keep it simple by being self-supported, carrying all kit and eating as we passed through towns. We pitched up our tent as the sun set and started again when the sun rose. We ran an average of a marathon a day, on our furthest day we clocked 38 miles. We undertook this run to share the good things people are doing the length of Great Britain, to enjoy them click here.
What route did we take?
